CAREER PATHWAYS

The WSS is launching a Career Pathways scheme via a closed Linked In group. Unlike a traditional mentoring scheme this gives you the opportunity to have a one to one with someone who is in a role that you aspire to.

The advantages of this approach are:

You will be able to identify the skill set and experience required to achieve your next career move

You don't have to commit to a long term mentoring scheme

You may be able to support someone else in the WSS

Career opportunities within the security industry will become more transparent and therefore accessible - a key aim of the WSS

The scheme will be supported by career focussed documents and events

If both parties agree you can arrange to meet again at a later date outside of the WSS scheme to review your progress

WSS members, sponsors and supporters will be encouraged to join the group.
